Two Skincare Steps You Can’t Afford to Leave Out

I know that we are all busy and trying our best to live by our hectic schedules, that’s why we forget to take care of ourselves amidst it all. Well basically that’s the life of an adult. However, there are some beauty rituals that you have to include as a part of your routine so you don’t have to spend much time thinking about it.

The first step is toning your skin and the second is moisturizing. Back then, I always thought that maybe one will suffice, which usually is the case; however, to double the benefits for your face, one just simply can’t live without the other.

Toning basically prepares your face so it’s ready to absorb whatever products that come after. Basically I tone my face using two ways. When I use cotton to scrub the remaining dirt on my face and the second is by tapping the product to my face, to fully allow my skin to let the toner settle.

The toner that I am currently in love right now is the Dickinson’s Enhanced Witch Hazel Hydrating Toner, a receiver of the Teen Vogue Award for Beauty Game Changers (2016).

After you have fully toned your face, you have to moisturize it to make it look supple and even to normalize the oil production in the face, especially for people who have oily skin, like me. I currently use Olay Moisturizing Lotion, which is so light and can be used daily during the mornings and evenings.
