French Blueberry Clayey Mask from @rrawph is a cream textured face mask made with a base of clays. A humble mask to leave you with a dewy glow. Clarifying and hydrating, this mask will give your complexion an extra boost of vitamins.
Skin Type: Acne-Prone, Dry and Dull Skin.
Mask First Impressions
When I first saw the product I thought, “this small tub (60 grams) for P325.00? Pricey,” when I can buy the Aztec mud mask (454 grams) for prices ranging from P500-600. Regardless of the price difference, the effects on my oily/ combination skin is the same- less pores, more refined surface and that instant dewiness.
The texture is indeed creamy-like, so applying it on your face is a breeze. You can add a little bit of water to make it more paste-like, for a smoother glide.
Product Application: What to Expect
After the first minute of application, you can feel your face already starting to heat up. You can layer on more product for a more detox-like sauna effect for your face. The peak effect or heat can be felt at the five to eight minute mark and then finally remove the product by ten minutes.
Again, just like with all mud or clay masks, remove it before it’s totally dried out (but for this one, it dried up, because I had to do retakes for the shoot HAHA), so it doesn’t dry up your skin and you get it’s whole healthy benefits. Blueberry Clay Mask Effects
They say that a picture speaks a thousand words, but after using this product, I am just at a loss for words. Again, for the product effect, I try to keep the picture as raw as possible and the only thing I edited with this one is the lighting. You can just see how my pores appeared smaller, my skin more supple and the fine lines less visible.
It’s a good go-to mask to use hours before going out for a casual dinner with friends, a night-out at the club or a Sunday garden gathering with your family and relatives.
They’ll surely change their questions from “when are you going to introduce your beau?” to “how did you get that glow?”
Overall, I’ll use this one again until it runs out, because this French Blueberry Clay Mask is good for your skin as berries are for your health. The small tub and the price may bother you, but once you realize that you actually only use a bit (half teaspoon of the product), it will be easier to accept it.
Until you read from me again.
