So here you have it! After 2 months of using this product I am finally able to make a review about Skinmiso’s Pore Corset Serum.
Judging the product by its name, this product is not about making your waistline smaller, but your pores, which I believe is another thing that you have enlarged since our skin is exposed to the hot and humid urban environment. The main tagline that is on the bottle is, it is used to (1) tighten those big old pores and (2) balance your skin to maintain its moisture and oil secretion. Too good to be true? Let’s see.
After using this product for the first week, I had breakouts, which I rarely have nowadays so I removed it completely from my regimen. However, I finally figured out that this is not the cause of the breakout but rather the Niacinamide I used together with this one (niacinamide is known to even out your skin tone and whiten dark spots with a purging effect common for some people). Knowing that, I welcomed this product again with open hands and this time I really saw it for what it is.
After a week of using this product, many people have complemented me for the dewy shine that I currently have, and I told them that I had nothing on my face but they wouldn’t believe me. That was the moment that I knew that this product is for real. Each day, I would wake up with less visible pores and a shine-free skin that lasts throughout the day. As the days go by it just keeps getting better and better.
For the minor qualities of the product: (1) smell: it doesn’t smell like hot caramel vanilla or anything like it but I don’t care. (2) consistency: it’s quite thick knowing that it’s a serum, so another duh fact.
This product has been a staple for my skin and I think it should be yours too especially if you have an acne-prone oily skin.
P.S. Just make sure to cleanse your face properly because you wouldn’t want dirt trapped in your teeny tiny pores.
Until you read from me again.
